Worship

We start our worship service with praise at 10:00 a.m., encouraging the church body's participation. We encourage freedom in worship. If you sing, sing! If you play, play on! If you dance, dance to Him... We connect our hearts in a spirit of thankfulness and give back that joy that He's given us. At about 10:45 a.m., the children are dismissed for Junior Church and the service continues.

John 4:23, Jesus speaking to the woman at the well:
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship him. v.24, God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Midwest Christian Center has always been a place where freedom in worship and being a doer of the Word is encouraged. We believe in a spirit-led service where structure and form are received by God's direction. Some of our services are quiet and worshipful. Others take worship to a new level. At the heart is a desire to follow the Lord Jesus, and do His Will. We believe He wants to help us grow to fulfill His special calling in our lives, so we can be changed and healed. We know the Lord delights in the praises of His people, and it's our desire to be that light, and bring a smile to His face. He has put the seed of faith in our hearts that cries out "Abba, Father - Daddy - and this is Your church, Your home. We reach our arms toward You."
